In 2014 I had the opportunity to live and work as a freelance photographer in Qatar. In my free time I would take my camera to document anything and everything that caught my eye. It was a fascinating time in Qatar’s history as the landscape in and around the capital city Doha was constantly changing as Qatar was preparing to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In this image a camel is seen waiting to be sold at the Camel Market in the Abu Hammour district on the outskirts of Doha.
