In 2014 I had the opportunity to live and work as a freelance photographer in Qatar. In my freetime I would take my camera to document anything and everything that caught my eye. It was a fascinating time in Qatar’s history as the landscape in and around the capital city Doha was constantly changing as Qatar was preparing to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

One of my favorite places to visit was the Al-Shahaniya Camel Racetrack and Training Center. In this image a trainer is taking his camels back to the stable after a day of training. For more info and images take a look at my gallery of this amazing place here.
